Dhaulagiri (8167m) is a massive mountain extending 120 km east to west. It is not only massive but also the world’s seventh highest mountain. It was first climbed on 13 May 1960 by Swiss/Austrian/Nepalese Expedition group. Moreover, the word Dhaulagiri comes from Sanskrit where the word Dhawal means dazzling, white, and beautiful and Giri Means Mountain. There are more than 15 highest peaks in Dhaulagiri massive range.
