Gokyo valley Trek

Trekking around Gokyo Valley is famous as a traditional trek which offers  the magnificent panoramic views of mountains and  the largest glacier of Nepal. Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu and Mt. Makalu are clearly visible from Gokyo Ri ,it is just above the Gokya Lake. There are many remarkable Buddhist monasteries, Local Sherpa’s houses and there culture. These are rally attractive and always seems ready to welcome for guest to show her beauties.

Trekking in this region is best for October to January, also it can best as much more attractive for other season and winter as well to get enjoy with snow. This treks start from Lukla and end with Dole(4200m).The climbing of Gokyo RI (5483m) is one of the best adventureous moment during the whole trek.

 Itinerary Overview


Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu , Welcome by our office staff at Tribhuwan Internation Airport)

Day 02 : Briefing about trek and Sightseeing over Kathmandu Valley

Day 03 : Fly to Lukla (2,804m) – 35 minutes and whole day sightseeing over Lukla. Overnight at hotel

Day 04 : Start Trek to Phakding (2,610m) – 3 hrs from Lukla

Day 05 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m).

Day 06 : Namche Bazaar acclimatization and Rest Day.

Day 07 : Trek to Phorste Thanga (3,680m).

Day 08 : Trek to Machherma (4,470m)

Day 09 : Trek to Gokyo (4,790m)

Day 10 : Trek to Gokyo Ri (5,483m)

Day 11 : Trek to Dole (4,200m ) – 6 hrs, The final Destination of Trekking point.

Day 12 : Trek to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung village (3,780m) .

Day 13 : Trek to Lukla (2,804m).

Day 14 : Flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 15 : Farewell dinner at Kathmandu.

Day 16 : Departure to your country.
