Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m) is the world third highest peak, located in the eastern part of Nepal. In the first place, it lies about 125 Km (78 Mile) from east to west of Mt. Everest (8848m). Moreover, the three of the five peaks: Main, Central and South on the border between Sikkim and Nepal and Two peaks lies in Taplejung district of Nepal. Furthermore, it is known to be the Five Treasures of snow and is always worshipped by the residence of Darjeeling and Sikkim. There are four climbing routes to reach the summit and accordingly the three peaks, which are in the southwest, northwest, and northeast is in Nepal. In 1955 on May was the first summit of this Mountain.
