Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak(6,476 m) is a Trekking peak lies in Mahalangur Section in Sagarmatha National Park.Mera North, Mera South and Mera Central are three summit of this mountain with hight  6,476m, 6,065m and  6,461m respectively.

Col. Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing are first summiter of Mera Peak in May 20 1953. There are many thousands of Nepalese and Foreigner have been successfully summited this peak till date. The climbing is the best practical knowledge and training to summit other eight thousander mountain. Also it is famous as non-technical and easy to summit. Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kangchenjunga, as well as other Himalayan peaks can be seen clearly from the summit. These day Mera peak is also famous for Ski-Mountaineering as well.This trek offers naturally beautiful lakes, waterfalls, flora & Fauna and Typical Sherpa-Tibetan culture.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

(Welcome program by office staff, transfer to hotel)

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

(Briefing about trip at evening)

Day 03: Final Preparation and Shopping

Day 04: Fly to Lukla, trek to Paiya (Chutok) (2,730m

(35 mint for flight and 4-5 hr lukla to Paiya, Overnight at hotel)

Day 05: Paiya to Pangkongma (2,846m)

(Overnight at local hotel)

Day 06: Pangkongma to Nashing Dingma (2,591m)

( 4-5 hours trekking ,overnight at local hotel)

Day 07: Nashing Dingma to Chhatra Khola (2,800m)

(7-8 hours, Overnight at local hotel)

Day 08: Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3,691m)

(6-7 hours trekking ,Overnight at local hotel)

Day 09: Kothe to Thaknak (4,358m)

(3-4 hours, Overnight at local hotel)

Day 10: Rest and Acclimatization at Thaknak

Day 11: Thaknak to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft): 2-3 hours

Day 12: Khare: Acclimatization

(pre–climb training, Overnight tent)

Day 13: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,780m)

(6-7 hours trekking)

Day 14: Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m)

(Back to Khare (5045m/16,547ft): 8-9 hours

Day 15: Reserve Day for Contingency

Day 16: Khare to Kothe (3600m/11808ft): 4-5 hours

Day 17: Kothe to Zatrwa La pass (4600 m/14720 ft): 5-6 hours

Day 18: Zatrwa La pass to Lukla

Day 19: Fly to Kathmandu

(Refresh day at Kathmandu)

Day 20: Certificate hind over and farewell Dinner party at evening)

Day 21: Departure to your country
