Mt.Dhaulagiri (8167m), massive extends 120 km east to west. It is world’s seventh highest mountain. It was first climbed on 13 May 1960 by swiss/Austrian/Nepalese Expedition group. The word Dhaulagiri comes from Sanskrit word Dhawal means dazzling, white, and beautiful and Giri Means Mountain. There are more than 15 highest peaks in Dhaulagiri massive range. Mt.Dhaulagiri region is rich in natural beauties, forest which is home to many rear wildlife and birds, rich in cultural diversity etc.
