Mt. Manaslu (8163m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world located in Mansari Himal of Gorkha District. Actually, the word Manaslu came from Sanskrit word Manas, which means “Soul or Spirit of Mountain”. The Climb of Mt. Manaslu was started from 1956 AD, after the successful summit of Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu of Japanese Expedition group.
