Mt. Manaslu is 8th highest mountain in the world. It is located in Mansari Himal at 8156 m and listed as eight thousander ultra, situated in Gorkha District. The word Manaslu came from Sanskrit word Manas which means “Soul or Sprit of Mountain”. The Climb of Mt. Manaslu was started from 1956 after the successful summit was Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu of Japanese Expedition group.
