The Annapurna Circuit is a trek within the Annapurna mountain range of central Nepal. The total dimension of the route differs between 160 Km to 230 km. The Annapurna circuit trek was opened in 1997 A.D. This trek crosses two different river valleys and surrounds the Annapurna massif. The trek begins at Besisahar in the Marshyangdi river valley and determines in the Kali Gandaki Gorge.

Besisahar is located in Lamjung district of Gandaki zone and can be reached after 7 hrs. drive from Kathmandu. The trail passes along paddy fields and into subtropical forests several waterfalls and gigantic cliffs and various villages. Annapurna Circuit has often been selected as the best long distance trek in the world. After crossing the Thorong La pass, the variety of culture and tradition from Hindu villages at the low foothills can be seen. As well the Tibetan culture of Manang Valley and lower Mustang. With construction of the road, mountain biking is becoming popular. The trek usually takes about 15 to 20 days leaving from Kathmandu The mountain scenery seen close from this trek includes Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Pisang Peak, Paungda Danda. They are the most beautiful scenery seen while touring in the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Basically weather decides how your tour goes. So before going to any tour climatic season must be checked.

October and November is the best month in Nepal for hiking and touring because of monsoon the sky and the area are all cleared which makes us easy to look at scenery of Nature. Though in daytime the temperature is warm in nighttime the temperature falls down at freezing point. This month is the busiest month for trekking.
