Trekking Guide

Best Season

Autumn (September to December)

Manaslu Circuit Trek is 14-day long trekking in the heart of the Himalayas. The trek circumnavigates the 8th highest peak in the world (8,156 m). You will find the protected wild animals, national lant of Nepal Rhododendron and wildflowers, raging rivers, precarious bridges and stunning mountain scenery. Today trekking in this area is much easier than it used to be with the impressive improvement of the trails along the Budi Gandaki river gorge.

In terms of difficulty, it can be compared with a popular trekking destination like Annapurna Circuit and Everest Base Camp. Though the visiting population is less compare with other Trek it doesn’t lack in Natural diversity compare with others. Manaslu region is known as the rural area in Nepal but it is being developed for Tourism purpose. Back then there were no lodges below the Larkya La pass at 5135m, which requires an enforced night of camping. But today local lodges are made which makes the travelers trek easily. The Manaslu Trek starts from Arughat and ends in Besisahar of Lamjung district.

While trekking Manaslu there are some restricted area like Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP) that you should have permitted to enter. So, you are required to arrange the Manaslu Through a registered trekking agency of Nepal. However, we arrange all the thing for your trek.

In addition, the best season for Manaslu Base Camp Trekking is Spring and Autumn. Every trekker should have proper trekking gears. As a leading trekking operator, Himalayan Ski & Trek provides you necessaries trekking gears on hire. Finally, we suggest you bring some chocolate and dry foods in your hand carry bag and water bottle.
