To explore the hidden world of ancient Buddhist civilization, Upper Mustang is the best way. Both naturally and spiritually it has popular. The region is close to Tibetan Civilization and it’s history. Most of the trekking trails follow ancient salt caravan route of Mustang region. Upper Mustang is the capital of the Mustang region, which is most notable part of the trek. There are some of the beautiful monasteries like Thugchen Gompa, which built in the 15th century.

Jomsom is the get way of Upper Mustang, which is 25 minutes flight from Pokhara or 5/6 hr drive. The trek starts with a stony way of Kali Gandaki river beach. The trek is adventurous and unique experiences through the deepest gorge in the world. The Kali Gandaki that runs between the Dhaulagiri. The Trek offers an immense opportunity to see and embrace the untouched lifestyle of the local people. Also the enthusing social practice and authentic religious values, cultural aspects of their lives and wonderful landscapes on the natural Himalayan biking trail. This could be unique Mountain Biking in the entire world. Words are not enough to describe the existing beauties of Mustang. You need to get there and enjoy magnificent experiences.

Monsoon months June to August are best for the trekking to this trail. However, it is best to add 1/2 day of your itinerary for travel interruptions due to bad weather. While November to December is another best time to trek in Upper Mustang keep. This may cause an inconvenience in restaurants and accommodation availability. The Upper Mustang is a ‘bucket list’ ride for mountain bikers from all over the world.
