Rara Lake Trek

A journey to Rara Lake Offers you incredible treks and happiness in Himalayan range. The Rara Lake lies in rural and remote area of Karnali, Nepal. The Rara Lake lies at an altitude of 2,990 m (9,810 ft) with 10.8 km2. It is five kilometer long and two kilometer wide. Also it is longest lake of Nepal.  Rara National Park is a popular to see the native  wildlife like Musk deer, Leopard, Ghorals,Thar, Himalayan Black Beer and Red panda.

The  Rara Lake represent  a perfect mirror to view beautiful snowcapped  mountains. It is one of the fresh water lake of Himalayan regions. Rara is Serenity pilgrimage for Hindus & Buddhist of all Nepalese.  During winter season, the lake probably  surrounding by snow and small rainfall in summer season.  In autumn season trekkers are rewarded with a profusion of alpine flowers. The main occupation of the people living around this area is agriculture. People also rear goats and extract medicinal herbs and sell them for their living. The Buddhist & Hindu mixed cultures is main loving point for every trekker.
